“For Viksit Bharat Dream, We Will Continue For Many Years”: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today underlined that his government has given true development to the poor, not empty slogans, adding that some parties promise many things during elections but this group is an ‘AAP-da’ on the future of the youth. 

The Prime Minister, replying to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address, further said that it is only the third term for his government and they will continue to work for many, many years for a Viksit Bharat.  

“For five decades we heard the slogan of Garibi Hatao and now we have pulled out 25 crore people out of poverty,” said the Prime Minister replying to the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address.

The discussion began on Monday as the ruling National Democratic Alliance or NDA members highlighted the achievements of the government, while opposition MPs sought to corner the government over a host of issues.

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi had spoken on Monday, slamming the government over its “failed” Make in India policy among other issues.

In this book there’s a mention of  India’s first PM who also held the foreign affairs portfolio. It had his conversation with JFK. When the country was dealing with crisis situation, the book details what games were being played in the name of foreign policy

* We have a woman president, who belongs to a poor family, if you couldn’t respect her, that’s one thing. But the things that were said against her, what could be the reason for it 

* In the last 10 yers, 10 crore women have joined self help groups. These women are from rural backgrounds. This increased their status and the govt has increased the aid to them by Rs 20 lakh

* President mentioned Lakhpati Didi Scheme in her speech. Since its inception, 1.25 crore have become lakhpati didis. And our goal is to make 3 crore lakhpati didis

* Agriculture has a key role in rural economy. After 2014, the sector has seen an increase of 10 percent jump

* Every citizen should have a dream that every dining table should have a Made-In-India packet. I am so proud that along with our tea, our coffee and turmeric are also gaining popularity. Our processed seafood and Bihar’s makhana and shri anna will also reach the global market soon

* Future-ready cities are necessary for Viksit Bharat. Today, we are proud to say that country’s metro network has crossed 1,000-km. We are also working on additional 1,000-km. To reduce pollution, we have given 12,000 electricity buses

* Gig economy is an important area. Lakhs of youth are connected to it. These workers can register themselves on e-shram portal. They will get an ID card and they will also get the benefits of Ayushman Yojana

* There are examples that countries became developed in 20-25 years, why can’t we do it? We need to move forward with this hope and we will become developed by 2047. This is just the third BJP term, we will be working to develop the country in the coming years as well
