Delhi vs Railways Highlights Day 1, Elite Group D: Virat Kohli did not get a chance to bat on Day 1 of his return to domestic cricket, as Delhi came out to bat after bowling out Railways for 241. Delhi reached 41/1 at Stumps. In front of a packed Arun Jaitley Stadium, Railways were reduced to 66/5 by Delhi, before a century partnership between Upendra Yadav and Karn Sharma helped rescue their innings. Upendra top-scored with 95, while Navdeep Saini and Sumit Mathur picked up three wickets each for Delhi. Kohli is playing under the captaincy of Ayush Badoni. Kohli’s presence attracted thousands of fans, who had bee-lined to enter the stadium from the early hours of Thursday morning. As per a report by IANS, over 15,000 fans attended Day 1 of the match.
